We offer for sale this very rare Lotus Omega from 1991. The Lotus Omega is a high-performance sports limousine that was produced in very limited quantities from 1990 to 1992. Only 950 copies were produced. The Lotus that we offer for sale here was delivered new in Belgium in 1991 and comes from the second owner. The sports car was maintained and numerous new, original parts were installed in 2019. The Lotus Omega is powered by a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that was developed in collaboration with Lotus and Opel. This engine produces an impressive power of 377 hp and is linked to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Lotus Omega has a low odometer reading of only 77,506 kilometers.
The Lotus Omega has a fairly modest, subtle appearance that does not immediately indicate its sporting performance. The bodywork has wider wheel arches and a rear spoiler to emphasize the sporty character of the sports car. The car is equipped with specific Lotus alloy wheels, which are larger and wider than those of the standard Omega. The car is finished in Imperial Green, which is also the only color available for the Lotus Omega. The interior is designed to reflect the combination of luxury and sportiness. It features leather upholstery, air conditioning, heated seats, a power sunroof and a host of other modern conveniences one would expect in a 1990s luxury sedan.
