We offer for sale this beautiful Mercedes-Benz 290 GD from 1984. This G-Class was body-off restored by father and son in the period of 2020-2021. They are real Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts who have already restored various G-Class models together. The restoration has been recorded in an extensive photo report and the classic has not yet driven after the restoration. It is powered by a 2998cc 5-cylinder diesel engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Mercedes-Benz is also equipped with selectable four-wheel drive with high and low gearing and diff-lock. Can you already see yourself driving this sturdy four-wheel drive Mercedes-Benz?
A Mercedes-Benz G-Class is already a striking appearance, but the classic that we offer for sale here is a real eye-catcher. During the restoration, the body was removed from the frame and given a matte green coat of paint. The frame was then blasted and powder coated. The matte green paint fits perfectly with the army look of the classic and combines very nicely with the off-road tires and black details. The interior is in a neat, original condition and the seats have new upholstery.
